I took a 7 year break in 2019 because:

a. I went into political backroom work (I was a special officer to a deputy minister) and

b. I did strategy consulting (partly responsible for some fuel subsidy rationalisation exercise, sorry!) and I went through a dark night of the soul phase (a fancy and spiritual way of saying I was unemployed).
